  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1 lb jumbo lump crab meat, rinsed and drained
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
  • 1-2 tablespoons cream-style horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Pita chips or crackers

 Instructions:  Rinse crab meat thoroughly, sifting through to remove any shell. Sprinkle with fresh lemon juice and let drain well. Mix cream cheese with 2 tablespoons water. Combine with crab, horseradish, dressing mix and onions. Spread in shallow 2-cup oven-proof serving dish. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake in 350°F oven 15 minutes. Serve warm, garnish with scallions and serve with pita chips or toast points. In season, and simply delicious for a gathering of friends – that’s gracious living at its best!
