Gracious Living

The Passion that led to Easter. . .

“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance:  that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).Rejoice

So exciting . . .that the Resurrection is the most important truth of Easter!  Without this truth our faith is baseless.  Without the Resurrection, our faith would be meaningless.

The Resurrection reveals these important truths:
– Our sins are forgiven
– Death is not the end
– How we live is important

His Passion then,  ultimately guides our priorities and devotion.  In fact, living with our hearts focused on eternity enables us to be more effective in God’s work – living out His truth and building His kingdom – right here and now.  That is what Easter is all about and is truly gracious living at its best! Happy Easter!
