What’s your pleasure?

There’s nothing quite as American, quite as fun as outdoor grilling, whether at the beach or in your own backyard! For something different and oh so healthy, try our light and fabulous grilled lemon-garlic shrimp:

•  2-2.5lbs peeled, devined shrimp, rinsed and drained
•  1/4 cup olive oil
•  1/4 cup chopped parsley
•  1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
•  2 or 3 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
•  1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
•  lemon wedges

1.  Peel and devine shrimp
2.  Place shrimp in bowl and add olive oil, parsley, lemon,
garlic and pepper. Mix to coat
2.  Thread shrimp on metal or soaked wooden skewers, running through the body near the tail and again near the head of each shrimp, in the shape of a C
3.  Lay shrimp skewers on an oiled barbecue grill over hot coals or high heat on a gas grill; close lid on gas grill. Cook, turning once, until shrimp are bright pink and opaque, but still moist-looking in center, 5 to 8 minutes
4.  Squeeze fresh lemon juice over shrimp and serve
